  • Non Geared Gains

I have been working out for almost 6 months and am really pleased with my progress. I had to have an unwanted 2 week break from training recently but after 2 weeks back at I'm feeking better than ever. I have read that it is good to have a break from time to time so I'm guessing this is normal. To get to the point I'm pleased with my progress, but if you put 2 identical people (dont mean twins, I mean IDENTICAL PEOPLE) on the same diet and workout but only 1 was taking steroids, what would the difference be?

You be think I'm being totally thick and I am not, I understand the difference would be enormous but what I mean is, would it just be bulk (i.e would the steroid free person still look awesome but not as big, would the steroid taker look more ripped and bulkier etc)

Reason I'm asking is because although I got nothing at all against steroids I want to see what I can do naturally first. I don't want to be HUGE like some of you guys, I just want to bulk up a bit but and look like a stocky well built fit mother fcuker. Although when I started training I would have been happy with the way I look now, so maybe I'm full of it.

Anyway can you look real good without em?

    Thanks

    Re: Non Geared Gains

Yes bro! You can absolutely look great without em!!!
Most of the gear users here have hit a plateau or are just trying to attain the next level for themselves. If you continue to lift, eat right, and get plenty of rest, your gains will keep improving.
The answer to your question depends on many different variables..If you mean take the two people with equal genetics, same age, same diet, same rest, same exercise routines, and lifting experience.. yes, the person using steroids will be bigger, stronger, and more defined. It also depends on the steroids being used in the cycle and for how long. But here's the good news for you; New lifters make gains alot easier than experienced lifters simply because the muscles aren't accustomed to the regiment.
I hope I helped answer your question..Stick around and ask, ask, ask...There are far more experienced folks here who can help you with any questions you have! Good luck and keep up the good work!

Yes you can look real good without steroids! They help you to gain faster and above your genetic. But without them and with a bit more time you will look great if your diet/training/rest is in check.

i think i actually looked better before i started jucing.... i am carrying about 15 more lb now.. but not nearly as defined as i once was.

i am currently 6'3 about 195-205 depending on the time of the week. I would like to get back around 190.

just keep eating right and training hard and you can make great improvements... i lifted for 5 years before touching anything.
