    My upper arm is fairly large. I can't get my biceps to peak.
    Any pointers for me?

    I had an old guy tell me a long time ago to do curls and hold them at max contraction for a few seconds rather than just pumping reps. You will definitely do less reps but you will get that pump at just the right place. That is all I have.

      I’ve always felt slow and steady concentrating on the movement worked better for me then heavy.
