    Re: Training routine

I've been doing a lot more cardio for my Black Belt test coming up. as far as weights ? I'm going lighter with 12 to 16 for reps. my diet is pretty simple and boring right now, oatmeal, eggs n' whites, chicken or turkey, garnet yams, and some kind of greens. Sunday I rest and it's pizza and a soda day ! I feel really good and am at a good weight for what I'm doing right now, gains are really coming on great. I'm really focused like never before for this test !

      Re: Training routine

My training is so infrequent lately - by lately I mean probably 6 months or longer - that every time I work out it's like a new routine... Plus, I've added conditioning workouts with a trainer usually once a week, though work and life schedules interfere with that as well, so that's often 2 weeks between sessions.

So I'm sticking with mostly basic movements like deadlift, squat and bench (not ONLY those, but I make sure to include them). I try to throw in triceps with chest and biceps with back but if I don't get 'em in, "OH, WELL!"

Definitely not ideal but it's enough to maintain, for the most part.

I never hardly do the same routine when I workout. Love changing up all the time
