My HRT

well my numbers came in @ just over 1000 and my Dr. asked to me to reduce the dosage to 150mg/wk and come back and see her in 2 months. I have been "on" sinse I left here office and she called wanting me to stop back in. I told her the earliest I can make it is Mid-Jan. So I will be coming "off" till then. I guess when I went in last time- 4 wks off just wasn't enough-LOL

No way you should reduce we need to be at that level with our age 1000 is perfect. 150MG isnt going to do shit imo

yeah, perfection is 800-900 , being 1000 is nothing, hell you can fluctuate a few hundred depending on lot's of stuff

get an end of day appointment after taking a week off of your shots and my guess is you'd be fine

yeah, but she is trying to watch her butt. Its really no big deal, I'll come completely off a few weeks before i see her and my numbers will be back down

She doesnt have to worry about her butt every urologist knows that being at 1000 on hrt is normal. and dosgaes should be shot either once a week or twice and no more then 300mg per week from a doc unless your competing.But why make your hormonse go all crazy by going off for a few weeks then going back on. It seems best that you just dont see her anymore and just self medicate your self then every 3 months get blood work done from your family doc. I cant stand docs that dont know what the fuk there doing. Your not supposed to come off hrt fr a few weeks then go back on just to satisfy your doc.

theres no reason this has to be done unless your levels are in the 3000's and if so you can say your a body builder and by your looks if your at that level you should be big to where the doc will see that and say get regular blood work if your red count is to high we need to cut back a little. because thats what they watch for is your red blood count

I hear ya, Its just hard to walk away from free Test every 4 weeks. My insurance pays 100% including darts and alcohol pads. I may stay on and just see where it falls, but coming off for 4 weeks aint that big a deal

i stop my cycle about6 weeksbefore my lab work is due with the va i get it done every 6 monhs or there abouts and just do my every other week shot til i have blood work last time got u to 850 or so i told her i took shot a few days before and all was cool.
