  • HGH and Welts - Food for Thought

I was driving and got to thinking about the posts I have read about HGH giving people localized swelling and welts from injecting HGH.

I am assuming that most of them used bacteriostatic water to reconstitute their HGH. I know that BW has a small percentage of benzyl alcohol in it.

Therefore, one could venture to say that the BA in the BW potentially caused the irritation.

One way to test this would be to reconstitute two different HGH vials (from same kit) with BW and the other with sterile water.

Do separate injections on the same day using new clean needles. One injection will be performed using the sterile water reconsitituted HGH and the other will be performed using the BW reconstituted HGH.

If the BW site becomes irritated there are two main possibilities for this outcome.
    1. The BA in the BW is the irritant
    2. The peptide is the irritant
If the sterile water injection site becomes irritated:
    1. The peptide is the irritant
    2. The sterile water is not sterile (possible but somewhat unlikely)

If both sites (BW and sterile water) become irritated there is a high probability that the peptide is the irritant.

This experiment would have to be performed on a person who has already gotten welts from injecting HGH reconstituted using bacteriostatic water.

The HGH would have to come from the same kit that caused the irritiation.

The reason I say this is because I am sure that some people are more sensitive to BA than others.

What do you guys think about this?

I have actually heard what you are describing K, but in my case it wasn't the ba in the bw, cause ive tried both generic and now on Jintropin. I think more or less that it is because the generic is stronger concentration. I got the red welts on the generic, but not on the Jintropin. The trick to the generic is to 1. make sure you are rotating and injecting in dif sites all the time, and 2. if you start to get the welts start injecting the inner thigh (btw, is a very good area for sub-Q injection), or try the delts ( don't even pinch the skin for the delts, just push the slin pin in and inject). Switch doing delts one day, inner thigh the next and then go back to stomach. In time the welts will no long come. Actually the Jin site advises to do the inner thigh as a preferred place to do sub-q. I go high up on the inner thigh, about 3 inchs from where the thigh meets your crotch and rotate left and right thigh one day and the stomach the next. It is very easy and actually less painfull then the stomach. The reason they are saying the inner thigh is better is because it is faster in absorbtion and doesnt get trapped in the dermal fat layer. Also, don't forget to start at a reasonable IU and go up every 3-4wks so your body gets used to it.

I've known many including myself to have red welts first few weeks then they went away, I run only 191aa and others the same, I feel its the body rejecting the foreign substance first but then allows it, just like when we used to do our first gear shots and we wouldnt absorb like we do now, the body does some amazing things

Some ppl start off on too high a dosage and considering some of the generic that are out...well let just say its potency is on the high side.

Re: HGH and Welts - Food for Thought

I am at the end of week 3 and using 4iu per day (5 on and 2 off).

The welts are definitely noticeable and somewhat unconfortable. They even rear their ugly head in my delts.

I will give it a few more weeks and hopefully this will subside.

As a sidenote, I am doing 4iu in the morning. The reason for this is because I don't get home until late (almost before bed) and I have read that HGH is best done in the morning and afternoon and not before bed. What is your take on this?

I think that is the reason. You are doing all 4IU in the am and in one inject. Too much concentration in one area. Take 2IU in the am and 2IU when you get home. Its not going to make that much of a dif, trust me.

                Thanks Mick-G.

You are right about the 2iu thing. My first week consisted of only 2iu a day in the morning. I did not get any welts with that dosing.

                            Update

This is wierd. I am currently running 2iu in the morning and afternoon (4iu per day). Through weeks 3 and 4 I got welts from the 2iu injections.

Now get this, all throgh week 5 I am still running the same blue tops at 2iu morning and night (4iu per day) and am no longer getting welts.

I don't know what is different but not getting welts is cool with me.
