the "internet" itself is not a business. paying for internet access is one thing b/c the isp's need to make money. my point was, if people are willing to set up message boards on their own time for free then why pay for a service when you can get it somewhere else for free? it's like AOL. everything you can do on aol you can get for free on the internet just by having internet access. that's why aol is trying to constantly add all these new features to keep people interested while the internet savvy people have realized it's just a waste of money.

btw - i've already explained my side to AR mods. a couple of them side with me but can't do anything b/c cycleon's "the boss". furthermore, if he's as mature as some of you seem to think he is then he'll obviously have no gripe with us openly discussing his board on this site. he'll still respect fitnessgeared mods and share info on scammers, etc.

let me reiterate once again, the point of this whole thread was to try to get the mods to better define what soliciting is so big-g and the rest of us can stay out of trouble. so let's just discuss that.

Soliciting is soliciting, whether it be PM or e-mail. As long as you contact them through the board, its soliciting.

I only made the reference to "not emailing" because I know of the steps G made.

G, you had been warned about previous issues after dick was banned, you then opened a thread on AR, bashing AR. YOu then decided to stick around, and actually started to collect repsect from some of the members which some still hold. You broke the rules and now feel that you need an outlet to speak your statments of blatently false innocence.

let me know as soon as possible. i have no problem moving to another board. i'm willing to keep moving until i find one that suits me.

if the real reason you didn't want to talk about other boards was b/c some mods are members at both sites why didn't you just state that from the start. why can't you just be upfront with me?! you want respect? respect is give and take. you need to respect your board members if you want to be respected.

Thanks to the administrator, Mods, and members of FG for handling this in a mature manor. We at AR have nothing but respect for this board and share many members between us. It is always unfortunate when a board and members have to part ways but we have rules in place to protect and serve the needs of all. There was not any anymosity towards Dick or Big-G, who were both popular members, however we felt it was in the best interest of the board and its members to part company. I wish both of them nothing but good things at their new home.

i think big-g didn't realize what he did was soliciting, again that's why i asked what constituted it. he's an honest bro and wouldn't lie unless he wasn't sure what you guys meant. he loved that board and i'm sure if he was told once to stop he would have.

Is it just me or is there more and more drama on these boards lately. Just respect the rules and everything else will work out, if you do something that your not suppose to do and get poped for it move on and say cool i f***ed up and live with it. I am a member of both AR and FG but don't go to AR much anymore cause i get what i need here. And no disrespect to Dick or Big-G but like you guys said if something doesn't suit you move on. I am at a loss for words because the issue of repect came up and some say i had it and lost it. Well if i lost it then i cant say much but read and listen, dont follow. I was never a liar or a scammer and will never be. I am honest and upfront and as hardcore as they gret in the gym!!! Me and dick tear our gym apart and are highly respected there cause we are the only group of guys pushing it to the threshold everyday so our hard work is admired!!!
