I had posted last week regarding my first delt injection and how well it went, how the little bit of swelling looked good. Well, yesterday, an entire 3 days after the shot, I woke up and my entire shoulder, all the way down to the middle of my bi is black and green, a huge bruise, I cant where a tank top because it looks so nasty. Why 3 days later? I hit the other delt last night but im nervous that the other arm will look the same in about 3 days. WTF?
What are you using? Im using prop/fina.... and the prop is leaving me bruised up badly.... i did my bi over a week ago and my entire arm is just getting normal looking... I had huge yellow and purple bruises..... You should be fine.
Give it a little time. But be alert, and if it seems to be getting worse, and more painful, you might want to have it checked out. Again though, you are probably fine.
I'm Just an old chunk of Coal, But I'm gonna be a DIAMOND some day.
As you probably know, the bruising is caused by blood under the skin. As it is reabsorbrd it proceeds through a number of color changes. Most likely, in your case, the bleeding took place right around the time of the injection. It takes a while for the blood to work its way to the surface where it can be seen. This is what causes the delay. I'd not worry about it, unless it becomes a constant problem.
I am using the QV prop, I dont think there is a problem, but the my arm looks disqusting. Im sure my other arm will look the same in 3 days, cant wait.
