Only in the past for those who dont mind hotmail and google and yahoo and the many others sharing your emails, lol. I use protonmail.com. It has never let me down like safe-mail.

Check out protonmail.com. There is an app for that, lol. They clearly state our emails will stay secure and they are based in Switzerland.

If I memory serves me well. I think I might've just been using my regular day-to-day email for a few years. With no problems at all.

Let me ask this. Does anyone know of anybody getting 'wrapped up' 'roped off'...because of not using a secure addy?

Horse , I also use my Gmail for most of my emailing , but there's certain vendors that won't respond to u if u try to use a non secure email .
I mean it does make sense to because of what we do . Never know who peeking throw the back door .
So it just makes sense to go w/ a secure email , and it doesn't take much time at all .
I , personally , like Protonmail like I said . Plus it's free , but for like a donation of $17 to the site , u can have better piece of mind u know !!!

appreciate the direction Iron Game and Torres.
It was a while back but it seems like I remember a couple of secure email companies buckling under pressure during incidents like ORD. I was wondering if the massive population of yahoo or something might be safer. I need to just do some 'fineprint' reading.

In today's world, I don't think anything is 100%. But I'm sure some options offer at least a better chance. Let's face it, they spy(domestic) and hack eveything...they being our own govt.

anonymousspeech.com works well cost isnt that bad. allows you to set a ket if need be and always yse https. as well as a vpn

yup. They, the alphabet boys, aren't digging encryption as I've seen on the tv set a short while back.
