  • Left over fat from being a couch potato

Okay bro's heres my problem. About 20 months ago i was a fat ass. Plain and simple. I was in sales and marketing and could have given a crap less about the way i looked. Well times have changed but i still have some left over 'gifts' from beig a fat ass. Mainly my chest. It sucks cause i try and focus on it but even as i gain mass i still have left over fat there that makes it look like i have gyno but its just extra fat. I am running winny and fina at the end of my cycle to help drop some more fat but i was just wondering if there is anything else out there that can help out. Have heard about yoshibume(spelling is wrong) but have heard alot of mixed results. Just need some advice cause summer is almost here and i want these things gone, i look like a girl getting ready to hit puberty and it sucks ass...
Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog...

Yeah my diet is in check, i probably eat too little but trying to keep it as clean as possible. When i hit the fina/winny i will realy workon the cardio more. Its like they are something that i notice more cause i can feel the fat but nobody else seems to notice they say that my chest just look pumped. Oh well just another insecurity to add to the list.

diet bro and workout hard. Ive had that before. All I gained once in my past cycle went to waste because I didnt work out in months and all I ate was McDonalds, Burger King. My abs went away and my stomach looked nasty, like a beer belly.

Any low carbo diet would probably do - check out http://www.metabolicdiet.com

They make some exceptions to the more strict Atkins style lower carbohydrate diet specifically for body builders.

Yep. I dropped 31 pounds and 9% body fat in nine weeks with fairly minimal cardio and less than 20g carbohydrates per day.

Ugh... Sounds like cutting my carbs are a must. I am on high protein low carb but probably not low enough. So far on this cycle i have added 12lbs and dropped an inch and a half on my waist. Is it best to do the no carb diet off cycle or is it best to do it on cycle?

Damn, Chill out some Just cause you were a self proclaimed FAT ASS doesn't mean you know all the answers either, losing weight, being healthy, and contest prep are all different things. Some people have never been a FAT ASS for a reason, they know how to diet and exercise properly, and never let things get out of control; they probably have some good advice if you'll listen. Not everyone in better shape than someone else is that way just becuase they have good genetics and a screaming metabilism.

Cardio, although I can tell we both hate it about as much, is necessary for good cardio vascular health, it helps lower cholestorol (a problem on keto diets and AAS), and has other benefits. Kind of like saying you don't have to ever eat veggies, etc. sure you can, but you'll be much healthier in the long run if you eat a varied diet.

I agree that cutting carbs is a good idea for most people; carb cravings can be a *****, and switching from processed foods to healthier carbs and lean protein are important steps.

i think it is more the type and timing of carbs that really matters. I eat 300 g's a day and maintain about 7 percent w/ cardio only 3 days a week , but i am very selective about what type of carbs i eat and when.

All carbohydrates are definitely not equal. Some have more fiber and don't increase blood sugar. Others are simple sugars and may as well be considered poison.
