Cos' you're genetically pre-disposed. It was gonna happen anyway.

Some take higher doses and see no hair loss at all.

    Blame your maternal grandfather.

Berzerker. Is that where one gets the balding gen from?

That's what I heard. I'm not sure if they have isolated the exact gene yet. You'll know they have it when gene therapy for baldness hits the news.

That's good news to me because my maternal granfa died with a head full of hair.

Sorry, that’s out of date information. They now say it can come from both sides. If your maternal grandfather has a full head of hair you could assume your chances are better but it’s not a guarantee. It can come from both sides. I had a science teacher in high school tell the class the same thing about the grandfather theory. My Dad is bald and all his family is but my Mom's Dad has a full head of hair. Im crossing my fingers....... that’s about all you can do. I’ve come to the realization that if its going to go, its going to go (especially if you use AS). Most of the remedies only prolong the inevitable imo.

hmmm that's still good news. My paternal grapa also died with a head full of hair, yet my father hasn't kept all the hair but he is not completly bald.

hair loss is on your x chromosome- therefore if you are a male it must come from your mom. She got her x's from her mom and Dad. Her dad bald gives you a 50/50 but unless you can go back lots of generations you won't know till it starts falling out.

Well, there you go, the jury's out on that question. I still say it's a maternal grandfather thing.

But then, I'm a stubborn SOB.

thanks for hijacking the thread guys. but back to my question. i understand that if im predisposed to hairloss that AS will increase the hairloss, but my question is why am i still losing hair at the same rate if ive finished my cycle?

I'm certainly no expert but why don't we look at whats happening to your body while on and off juice. Your HPTA is certainly shut down. Does that play a rold in anything? Also you're still gona have the gear in your system; that would be the obvious thing to me. Again, I'm far fom an expert.

Have you tried those topical ointments that suppress your immune system so that it doesn't attach your hair folicle? I know some aas have used that and have regrown hair.
