how long do raw powders last if stored properly? do they eventually start to lose their strength meaning you would have to use more or do they just go bad? what about if they are around 8 yrs old thanks

back in the day i ordered some, i brewed half and forgot about the rest so the packs were open although sealed fairly well. i used them about 4 years later and they seems perfect to me. I assume they may loosed some potency but still not enough to chunk them. i think the drop in potency would be less than 10% and maybe as low as 3-4%. i was desperate for allergy meds once. my grandma gave me a bottle of allergy meds that was so old the plastic was brittle and the label was hand written. i chanced it, took one and got the relief i wanted just like if it were my own fresh script.
also i bought 10 grams of cialis powder. i only use 10-20 mg per dose as that is all i need. this stuff still works almost 10 years later and it has just been in a ziplock baggie.

Awesome thanks for your response. Yeah I kinda figured it would still be ok to use especially for my limited needs but you certainly helped seal the deal on whether I was going to use it or get fresh new stuff.just trying to relive my younger years in the gym all while being in my upper 50'sComment

Shelf life for gear is roughly 2-4yrs due to preservatives like BA etc, gear is good for much longer than that but the potency may lower. Proper storage can slow down oxidation etc. keeping it in a. Regulated temp-not ha if not stored in cold and then heat back n forth, and keeping it out of sunlight. Same goes for Raws but I'd also be focused on humidity and keep it sealed the best you can. I don't see why Raws stored properly couldn't last several years but yes potency will lower with with time. I can't imagine it would be very noticeable but under the lab scope yeah. Depends how its stored and how long. A lot of factors come into play including how the Raws were manufactured-their quality to begin with. I wouldn't throw the shit outComment
