I was given a corticosteriod for my clogged nasal passages (Nasarel, flunisolide). The leaflet says some amount of it becomes systemic, entering the bloodstream.

Will this hinder gains at all? Or will the gear keep my muscles from reacting to the corticosteroid? Or am I way off base anyway about what corticosteroids do?

Don't want to jeopardize my 1st cycle for the sake of breathing after all! j/k

It would take absolutely tremendous amounts of Flunisolide for it to become systemic, and all that would really lead to would be a very minor decrease in endogenous cortisol production. A topical is exactly what you want; it won’t hinder gains.

corticosteroids are catabolic, but will the amounts you are taking matter? Probably not. They will also blow your face up! U-G-L-Y! I am positive that your doses will not do this.

Just got prescribed the same thing today. I asked the doc that same question and she replied what Drenten said, and then went on to explain that that's how AS work and they supress things and yadah yadah yadah.......
