scorpion, i think you took some of my words wrong. first of all, no matter what they are not legal, and i'm not saying that it would be better if they were. cigarrettes are legal, and i think they cause more health problems than most anything else.
also, i don't have "control issues" and i think this is demonstrated by the fact that i am looking into this further and have not attempted any ultimatems- which i would never do. i was just saying that if you have friends that are irresponsible and careless it would not be a good idea to deal with them if it's your ass thats on the line.
finally, what health issues are you referring to? size? mussle mass? i don't think those are neccesarily health benifits. image benifits, yeah maybe.
    thanks for replying though

Aside from everything else you have laid out, image benefits can have a positive infuence in many aspects of life. What do you think of women who get breast implants. I have seen that change many women's lives for the better. Is that image? I think so.

i think breast implants and aas are different. .
i can't quote the exact statistic, but i've read a lot about breast implants and it seems most women regret them. plastic surgeons are now actually turning patients away if women want implants for any reason but for themselves. boyfriends, husbands, and insecurities are not enough anymore for implants. it seems anything to do with physically "looking better" is addictive- and those who resort to plastic surgery usually end up being "addicted" to it and its more psychological than anything. it's being found that if you get implants for any reason such as insecurity- that boobs will not give you the self confidence you want. that is a whole different set of issues to deal with.
if you think that changing your physical appearance will be a quick fix for any other issues you have, thats wrong. you'll never be satisfied because n o matter what you'll never be perfect and you can always change or "improve" something. so, as far as health benifits, i would definately disagree that image benefits are a "health benefit"
yes i do think some people who get plastic surgery and what not are fine psychologically and life is just great afterwards. same with aas. i'm just suggesting that i can see though how it would be so easy to become psychologically addicted to aas to keep trying and trying to get results.

There are addictive personalities, across the board, male or female. Unless Tim shows this right now, give him the benefit of the doubt. Wouldnt you rather him worry about his protein intake, and working out, than going out, get plastered with friends, and hooking up? This is the one thing my gf loves about me using AAS, is that i usually never go out drinking with the boys. I would say drinking is more addcitive, a bigger epidemic, and is harsher on the liver, than AAS. More deaths a year are from acute Acetemenophein over dose than anything else renal related, AAS dont even register on the radar screen. Especially if he stays away from orals. Anavar is actually used to treat patients with alcoholic liver damage, so even oral steroids arent too harsh on the liver. There is no such thing as "roid rage" either. A prick off steroids, is a prick on. If hes mild mannered now, he will be while on. Take it from me, i rarely get in fights wiht anyone, parents, GF, or other guys. Test actually makes me feel calmer.

I think you are being ridiculous. You can't remember the exact statistic, because it's bogus. You seem to be posting alot of stuff that you aren't too exact on. It's great to come here and get info and ask advice and opinions, but come one, plastic surgery quotes that are plainly ridiculous.........

its not rediculous. i have several articles and have been to a couple of presentations here at the med school about this recently. i'm not really pro or con on the whole thing i was commenting on something said by another member. i'm more concerned with tiny's safety while he's just starting out with his first cycle. thats information i am after.

                    To Tiny Tim's Girl...

I understand your concerns, I had them also when I was thinking about doing my 1st cycle. Yes, there are health benifits AND sex benifits - but all within reason. Please do more research - I took many months of research before I did my 1st cycle. YES THEY ARE ILLEGAL - but many things are, speeding, pissing in public, etc., but we choose to ignore them when we feel there is a benifit at the time.

I was so overweight (46 yrs. old), and dying, I was despirate - lost mega weight, but had to regain muscle that I had lost with the fat. Attached is what I loked like before. On the next post is what I looked like after 1st cycle of AAS. Look at the pictures and let me know if you think there is a health benefit or not.

                      To Tiny Tim's Girl...

This is the after picture - put on good lean mass, all body systems (blood pressure, etc.) doing great - My. Dr. knowsn about my AAS, highly approves it in moderation, and put me at the top or her greatest patients list!

p.i---first of all, congrats on the weight loss. thats great. i think it's awesome. again congratulatins!
i know there are plenty of things such as speeding that are illegal and that most people ignore them. that doesn't necessarily make it right. i'm just looking out for my man! i don't want him to look better but subject himself to other health risks along the way to reaching another goal. thanks for the reply....

                          Articles and presentations at school?

LOL...I think you need to get your facts straight first.

You need PEER-REVIEWED articles not obviously biased ones.

To set you on your research journey.....you can look up every AAS known to man at medline for yourself.

When you actually develop SOME knowledge not obviously biased opinions THEN you can talk like you know something.

Until then...you will be as uninformed as the masses.

i agree with fonz and Tiny Tims Girl i really dont like your attitude towards all this - You dont come off as a concerned GF you come off as a controling know it all but you really dont know anything about AS and dont seem to want to learn.
