I just did my first ever quad shot. I had been using glutes exclusively until tonight.

Glutes have always been painless during and immediately following the injection. But my quad was NOT. The whole time the needle was in there it felt like it had a mild electric current running through it, or maybe like the muscle was tightening around the needle. As the gear flowed in, the feeling increased. "No problem", I thought, "it'll be over soon enough."

Then I extracted the pin, rubbed the site vigorously for a couple minutes and got up. Zowie! It feels like my thigh has been hit by a line drive!

I hope quad shots aren't always going to be like this. I want to try fina in the future so I need other sites.

Not looking for any info really, just wanted to piss and moan about it out loud.

once you get used to it wont. I like those shost, but I like the lat's better

For me, they are the easiest to do, but agreed, i'm pretty lean and its way more painful than an ass shot, but who cares, I sorta like pain in a way.

my only complaint w/ quad injects is.....my quads are very well developed and prob the hardest spot on my body....the first initial push to get the needle in is really difficult (i gotta jab!) and painful for me...but im fine after that
