  • Starting T3 Today...

Staring the CKD today and am supp'g with Levoxyl. I've checked with the pharm and was told that this was T3 & T4. The tabs are 200mcg's each. I'm starting with 50mcg's a day. Below is my planned schedule for the T3. Please advise if you think this is too much or too little.

    Thanks!

TOO Much In my opinion! Also, I don't like that T3 + T4 mix...T3 alone is much better!
You need to taper up slower..start at 12.5mcg and go from there and there's no need to go over 150mcgs! I think personally upto 100mcg ED is ENOUGH!

you don't need to taper up slow but you do need to taper down slow! go with t3. and like btm said, 100mcg/day is a good max. maybe something like this:
      12.5mcg-2 days
      25mcg-2 days
      50mcg-2 days
      75mcg-2 days
      100mcg-14 days
      75mcg-6 days
      50mcg-6 days
      25mcg-6 days
      12.5-6 days

I've got immediate access to the T-3/4 and no access to T3. The tabs are 200mcg each and I've been unsuccessful at cutting it into 4 pcs. That's why I'm starting at 50mcg. Do you have any suggestions on scheduling this? If so, I'm all ears man.

Thing is T4 is alot less effective than T3...that's why many vier away from using it b/c you have to take much more to get the same results as T3!

I have an unlimited supply to the T-3/4 combo. I'll find out what the chem name is for the stuff I'm taking. The name on the bottle is Levoxyl. I've been told that there are two types of Levoxyl so getting the exact name would be helpful...

For now, I know that this is the stuff that someone takes if their thyroid isn't functioning. Maybe this is the T# Levoxyl.

Thanks for the info bro! So, is it T3 or 4 or a mix of both?

Levoxyl is T4. It is converted to T3 inside cells. The problem is that you have the second to lrgest size pill they make. Give that 12.5 mcg is a typical replacement dose, the doses you are suggesting seem very high. At 33 yrs old I'd be concerned about cardiac problems. I'd consider getting smaller pills or buying the "research" liquid.

at this high dosages i'd be seriously concerned about the sides and the rebounce after the cycle. the guys are right about T3 only. you didn't mention what you expect to achieve...
