The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Not really great, but with the QV prices going up per several threads, and the fact that NL is more expensive than TJ in many regards, and the exchange rate is worse than it was last time I was there, I didn't worry about it.Originally posted by prolangtum

EQ price looks decent, Ethanate price is around what i have foudn some domestics to be, if your looking to kill a weekend not a bad idea, but the risk/reward is probaly not worth it.I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body

I live so damm close to border yet going to TJ to buy gear is the last thing on my mind. Why bother?? There are so many underground labs these days as the powder markets have opened up and domestic sources available with quick turnaround time why take the risk? If you even look like you workout you will most likely be flagged. Plus, the dirty mexican cops stake out these known vet stores and pharmacies that sell gear and harrass you until you fork over some bribe money. Oftentimes they get tipped off the vet stores and pharmacies themselves and split whatever bribe money they get from you with them.The juice is loose!!!Comment

I think there's just more pricing competition in TJ, and still a little paranoid about arguing them down too much on the prices, just to be safe... the money isn't really the overriding goal. The federales were out in more numbers, but I don't believe they hassle with people at all (well, at least nothing like TJ), but if the vet makes a decent profit, they're not going to mess with ya, and I've never seen the federales anywhere near any of the vets, just around the main tourist area.
Also, I'd rather do vet than underground; no telling what quality control or sterility you'll actually get there; could be almost human-grade but probably nowhere near that.
As for going domestic, other than the fact that I don't have a source, I think it's just a different set of risks. If the source gets watched or busted, you could be given up. don't have to worry about fakes (and whatever replacement policy they may or may not have) if you can examine the goods first. No one knows who you are or any of your mailing addresses, etc. Not saying that I like a long ass day trip, but it doesn't bother me either, don't have to do it very often.Comment
