    what is the BEST to use post w/o?????? mix humalog and humulin R??? or just use one or the other? or use the 70/30? wondering what the best option really is.

      I like Humulin R, i find a humalog is too fast acting in my opinion...XXL

          I use Log. Why? Cuz I work out at nite, by the time I take my shot its like 630pm and i go to bed at a decent time.

          However, I'm in the future i'm lookin to use R on the weekends, cuz I work out in the morning......

              That’s a very good point. You do not want your blood sugar to plummet while you are asleep. Falling into a diabetic coma can really ruin your day.

                    I would use humalog. Why? You are looking for a spike in insulin, to uptake nutrients, stop catabolism, retsore glycogen. All can be accomplished within an hour, the extra hour is nto neccasary, but the humalog is still working. Why not humulin? once your past the "golden oppurtunity" time frame, alls the insulin is doing, is blocking lipids from entering the bloodstream, thus you are not burning fat that your body normally would, because for 4-5 hours you have humulin keeping insulin levels high.

                      To be honest, as far as gains are concerend, i didn't notice much of a difference between the two.

                        I think it's a personal pref depending on your daily routine. I personally like the humalog because I want the spike to do it's work and then be done with it. lol...I like my good fats WAY too much to stay away for that many hours.
