  • Cutting diet advises please

    I will show you guys 3 random daily cal intakes to give you a feeling for my average daily intake this is my cutting diet just want some educated advise on it thx...

    EXAMPLE 1

    7am- Oatmeal [made with skim milk no other adds]

    3pm- 1 yam [sweet potato]
    1 can tuna

    6pm- 1 1/2 chicken breast [on grill with no salt hearbs]
    1 banana

    9pm- 1 can tuna

    EXAMPLE 2 [woke up late this day around 12:30 and went to sleep around 4am]

    1pm- Oatmeal [same as above]

    3pm- Lean body low carb shake

    6pm- double meat chicken salad [at subway with letuce, green peper, hot peper, black pepper and onions and no dressing]

    7:30pm- 1 chicken breast [on grill same as above]

    11pm- 6" chicken sub [at subway no dressing just letuce, black pepper and onions]

    12am- 1 can tuna

    EXAMPLE 3

    10am- shredded wheat with skim milk
    banana

    1pm- Leanbody Shake

    3pm- 1 chicken breast [on grill same as above]

    5pm- 1 can tuna can

    7:30pm- single meat chicken salad [same as above]

    9:30- Lean body low body carb shake

    AND REMEMBER I DO 45Min cardio 5 day a week [130-140 HR] current body weight 166lbs

    I know this should be in another forum but considering the fact that this is a cutting diet for a cutting cycle it is the appropriate place to post it

      i think you need to get on a better more constant schedule like 9am eat 10am 1pm 3pm 6pm 9pm(bed time like cottage cheese non fat) an id find ur BMR an base ur calories on that an do a 40 30 20 split or slightly more protein like 45 35 15 i just cut an went from 14% to 6% wked good for me....

        I try to eat every 3 hours....I do try to keep it as regular as possible...when I get a summer job my eating times will be more regular.....my BMR is approx 2200cal and I am trying to eat approx 200less cals than that and the cardio....trying to approximate the splits but it harder done than said...45 25 15 is what i am trying to achive

          ARE YOU WORKING OUT ALSO??? I AM NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN BRO BUT YOU ARE SIMPLY JUST KILLING ME WITH THIS STUFF.

          SO FAR NUMBER 3 IS THE BEST OF THE MESS: BUT YOU CAN DO BETTER I.M.H.O.

                Yep that diet blows Cat balls. Do some research on the diet forum, i usually am willing to make a diet up for anyone, but im extremley beat down today.

                          Scorpion I want to help out but I dont know where to start. I assume you dont eat at home much except breakfast and latenight so that means your in your early 20's? :p j/k

                          Ok you know that while cutting 1 gram of protien for each pound of body weight is optimal. You best diet of the list you managed to get close to 140grams. Those others are very poor. Your carbs look decent for cutting.

                          For ease maybe eat some no/low carb protien bars during the day.

                          Cutting: Protien high. Carbs low/moderate. Calorie burning excercise high.


                          You know most of this stuff I think maybe your just not putting it to practice because its difficult, time consuming, and expensive.
                          Thats why I trip up when I try to cut.

                            Why worry about the whole daily cals??? Why not consider working on the macros for each meal and the timing??


                            I mean think about it?? lets say you eat clean up to meal 3 then skip meal 4-5 and in meal 6 eat some pizza or someother form of shit that puts you into your " Daily Calorie Intake" Does this make sense to do since you have met your daily goals?? Wouldn't it be more sensible to focus on each meal and the timing of the meals through out the day??

                            Oh!! One more ?'s out of curosity, What do you do now?? How is a summer job going to be more effective in keeping the diet more on time?? If your not working now then you should be able to hold a diet down to the "T".

                            45 mins of cardio 5 days a week or not, the meal plan sizzucks. Eventually your going to be sacrificing muscle and of course dropping weight. Why do things so catabloic??? Your going to be running a cycle also why doing this kind of diet?? PLEASE do yourself a favor before any of this occurs! Do some more research and benefit from it all. In no way or form am I a diet guru but I can sure tell you that this is headed in the wrong direction.
