Bran buds or fiber 1. Small bowl nightly should bring the AM results.

Just raise your vegetable intake (can of spinach or turnip greens, broccoli, etc.)...cleared up in no time and if your carb senstivie no need to worry as all it is fiber, water, and micronutrients.

If your not watching your carb intake some Ezekiel bread does the trick or add some flax seed meal into your shakes.

            Poop goes the weasel.

                FUZO,

My middle daughter HAD major issues with constipation. Fianally took her into see the doc and she gave us Miralax, but the generic version. You can get it OTC as well. One word, well two...MIRACLE and REGULAR! I'm so happy about it. I know it might sound weird to others, but my daughter struggled bad with going poop Doc took x-rays or her stomach, and she was literally filled with poop. Now she is empty, and seems much happier about going potty. First 4 days she was on 17g breakfast, lunch, and dinner to clean her out. Now she is on a maintenance dose of 17g after lunch, and all is well. It's amazing!

Wife took this for a while. I think there may be some side effects from it. It was either on news or one of those commercials where a lawyer wants you to call in and report any side effects as a law suit is pending...

Anyways once my wife and I got married she started eating more the way I do. The increase fiber did the trick. Most people need around 30-40 grams a day and very few get that. Hydration and fiber equals regular bowel movements.

Finally magnesium works very well for constipation.

They key is to get both insoluble and soluble fiber. You need both as the soluble softens the stool and the insoluble helps move it through. You also have to drink plenty of water with this
