    The trick for quads with me is going in really slow. I use 1.5 every where 22g or 23g. All the way in. Even in pecs.

      Iv always just hit glutes with a 23g 1.5inch, but im getting scar tissue so I need to start hitting other spots and im thinking delts will be the one I go with, iv got 25g 1inch, being my size should I push the hole inch in or just over half? Im lean and skinny keep that in mind lol. Sry HH not trying to hijack your thread buddy haha. And damn bro your a monster and tren attic I didn't think a bullet would hurt you lol

              I think the 1" is fine I just have to hit it in the right spot or it gets tender and the oil spreads. I'm hoping the 1.5 gets it deeper in the muscle that way the oil won't spread out.

                23g 1.5 inch all around. I go less deep on shoulders. I agree hit the shoulder in the wrong place, and the oil spreads into the arm. A lot of pain when that happens. Glutes, quads, shoulders are the only spots I hit. Quads take some getting used to and can go either way. Some days, after a bad shot, I am limping for at least 24 hours lol.

                  i use 1" or 1 and a 1/2" in my delts and it pretty much feels the same either way. hope the change works out for you Heavy Hitter

                    I go 1" on everything but I'm not that big of a guy 510 206 1 1/2 just seems like a sword to me. No need for all that. I I get a painful muscle ill just pick another one, quads, lats, delts, glutes. Keep em rotating and I have less pain

                      OK so I did the 1.5 yesterday and today. Going deeper feels like hitting virgin muscle. But it isn't bad. I'm going to try it for a while see what happens.

                        I switched from 23 g to 25 g and glad I did. The 1" works fine for me, and I his almost exclusively delts (Sometimes glutes get sore, no fun to sit on that. I'll hit the ventro glute instead).
