I have many times on fina and without incident. I only use slin pins though. I swear it makes a difference for me.

I used to do leg injections all the time...but now I stick with other areas b/c its easier, and the doctor would not even recomend quad shots.

If you do it, I would stick kind of to the front "1", the side has a band of connecitve tissue running down from him to knee, and the small muscles hurt more.
