I ended up having 4 total antibiotic shots at the hospital over 4 days. I had a fever fri sat and sun. sat I was 99 at the hospital 100 on sat night. had to take some advil which brought the fever and pain down. arm and area was HOT to the touch fri sat sun mon. today is much better. I am now on oral antibiotics for two weeks. swelling has gone down, fever is gone but hardness around the muscle is still present. thanks for the post guns! all good info. I guess I was the weird one cause mine set in within days.
