Ya know, what I am finding is that it's not so much the gear that causes pain in the following days, it's how carefully I administer it.

I have QV enan, lot 007, I have administered 8 times. The first 2 or 3 weren't too bad as far as pain, just some minor pain the next couple of days. I expected much worse. Then, as I got better at it (glutes shots), the next few were completely painless during and in the days following.

Up until the 8th that is. I was going to try a quad shot for the first time. All I have are 22g1.5". As soon as the needle hit my quad's skin, there was a VERY sharp pain. So I aborted and shot the glute again. But this time I was shaky and in a hurry. That was yesterday and today I have a lump in my ass the size of a golf ball and it hurts alot! I've never had this much pain or a lump before.

Same gear, same needles (fresh obviously), same person. The difference was I got in a hurry and moved the needle around alot inside the muscle. I am certain this cut up the muscle alot and thus is causing the swelling and pain.

    Just my observation.
