Hey guys, I was just wondering if you guys know of a website or can make a list of the ideal needle lengths for different injections, let me know. Thanks guys, I dont know if this breaks any post rules, if so feel free to take it off and call me an idiot.
I use 25 gauge 1.0 inch and do quads exclusively if I can help it. A little slow but painless and you should do the actual injecting nice and slow anyway.
Good stuff, last time I used the 23gX1' but I was thinking about switching it to a 25g. Isnt it true that certain things are thicker then other and require a larger needle. My buddy said he used a 29gX1/2' for some fina, which sounds like a walk in the park. I went to spot injections.com because I thought I saw in the past a list of needle length suggestions for different muscles but when I just went there I couldnt find it.
Last cycle i used only 23g 1inch needles and never noticed the pain and injections where quick and easy. This cycle i switched to 25g 1.5 inch and i really can't stand them. They just feel so flimsy that i worry that they are going to break while i inject and they take for every to inject with. Well live and learn, in the future will only use 23g 1inch.
Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog...
25g is that big of a difference? Ive heard of people drawing with a bigger needle and then switching to a thinner needle, but does the needle inject that much slower as well? I figured it would take longer to draw then it would to inject no matter what, but if you use a 25g needle to inject how much longer could it possibly take

No need to go with 1.5....no matter where I'm injecting. JMO
I did the same a while back, but you can still use 1.5" at 1" Just cut the plastic needle guard off so only 1" of the needle is exposed, but be sure to tape the guard back together before you dispose of it. I hope this helps.
Originally posted by O2BESOHUGE my gf is a nurse and she uses a 1.5 all the way to the hub when she injects patients....nothing smaller than a 1.5 for intramuscular injection.
any nurse will tell you that. .......but...!! i use a 22 X 1" myself.
it seems to work better for me.

But I dont think any nurses give shots in bis or tris
