  • Need some advise on legs

Ok, this is the story I have not worked legs for a some time For my upcomming cycle starting May 1st I want to start again.... The reason I have not started yet is because I do 45min cardio 5 days a week [bike]. And I know that if I start legs I will be fucking my cardio up..AND THAT CAN'T HAPPEN. So what should I do to start of slow again and not fuck my cardio in the process..

    I was thinking

    4sets squats
    4sets leg extention
    4sets leg press
    4sets calves
EVERYTHING I SAY IS ONLY AN OPINION.

Dotn do cardio on legs day. Legs make up 70% of your muscle mass, so it should be a priority over cardio, ALWAYS. Never neglect legs. You need some Hamstring work, 2 sets of stiff leg DLs, and two sets of leg curls.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul

        Agreed.

Well maybe you need to watch your diet more than, you shouldnt rely on cardio. Cardio burns cals only while doing it. Weight training burns cals for 36 hours. Now which is going to do more for getting cut?

Another thing is that you don't realize the huge metabolic and hormonal response you get when you train legs hard with weights not just during but for the days afterwards.

The way I look at legs is like this. Any Denali looks good with stock wheels right? But it looks BETTER with 23' wheels right? So, you catch my drift kid:p

Legs are very important, some people never work legs out and worry about upper body only, well the ladies will tell you that they don't like a stock vehicle, they like it with 23' better...

Why is this in the anabolic forum? It sounds like it should be in the training forum bro.

BTW, I agree with Prolangtum. You need some hamstring work in there. Your routine is predominately quads and calves.

                      LOL

ITs so simple really. You seem to forget there are other forms of cardio. Box or swim. Those are easily done with sore legs.

I dont like your workout either personally

Do some heavy ass squats or deadlifts
Then some Ham exersize like pull throughs or SLDL

then do whatever extentions and legg press stuff you feel is nessicary for BBing

or Hell...go do some sled draggin after your workout and youll have plenty of cardio from that! I like to pull my nissan pulsar around my backyard!

Not a good idea to keep taking them. Advils are just another drug that you don't need to add consistently to your regimen. As well, it has been shown to limit protein synthesis in the body. By how much I don't know but still.

NSAIDS decrease protein synthesis signifigantly. Thats why God created Marij..........

I could never do squats and deads in the same workout. Just make sure you dont become "top heavy" I see to many guys with good arms and chest, but have bird legs. I wonder how they dont fall over, becuase 3/4 of their weight is in the upper body. I would rather be proportioned than ripped with bird legs.
