Re: Who is on Doctor prescribed TRT here?

Seeing numbers all over the place in this thread. One key player here is time of the pin in relation to the time of the draw. If a PCP is prescribing TRT chances are he/she really doesn't have a clue. I've seen this quite a bit with people prescribed by PCP's. An Endo is the proper way to go for TRT and they also should be monitoring estro levels as well.

I am prescribed 200mg Watson test cyp per week by my doctor. If running that dosage alone, I usually have labs come back between 600-800. However, I very rarely run my test only dosage, and my doc has known about my supplemental dosage from day one. He gives me an extra injection now one week prior to testing to "explain" my levels coming back at >1500.

He's a good doc in my book.

We are pretty close to the same and always test low at 600-800 @200mg. I know a few guys that test <1500 on the same testing schedule as i'm on, 7 days after last pin.

            Raises hand

I initially went through an online clinic. They prescribed 200mg/week
Very expensive. I went to a urologist and she had me on 200 mg every
2 weeks. What a roller coaster from hell. She also did bloodwork the day after my
Shot (peak) and my number was around 600 on 347-1197 scale (LabCorp)
I had a falling out with that doc and my new doc has me do 200mg once per week.
Blood work is done the day BEFORE injection and my number is around 900-1000.
Doc is happy, I feel good, no roller coaster. After my last blast, I waited 3 weeks
and did blood work. Test was around 400. I went back to normal schedule,
            for the cruise.

My initial numbers when all this started was 297 Ng/dl.
44 yrs old and never did aas before.
I think 20+ years of shift work has messed me up.

My initial testosterone test was 172 on a scale of 300-1200. Not sure how it's measured honestly, I just know the numbers.

1st, yeah...i am on HRT (TRT) but mainly to get the androgel or testim - incredible sex boosters or if you want an additional jump start for the work out....it works within hours.

but, why i DO get the cypionate instead, its 200mg EW.

blood serum levels of test or measured in nano grams per deciliter. and yes, the normal range is betwen 300/400 to 1200.

i have blood work done routinely and the levels range from 2000-2800.

                  shucks...just call me mr. excessive.

                    forgot to add -

the gels are f'ing expensive like $300, $400 bucks.

which translates to $15.00 with a prescription card.

what the f*ck kind of gel cost that much?
