here's what i do. first draw it out with a diff. needle than the one you'll be using to inject yourself. i find the spot where i'm going to inject and rub the alcohol. uncap it and then stick. i push pretty slow. painless this way and i can feel if i'm close to anything that i dont want to be close to. rarely have i come close to a vein. besides, i don't trust anyone else to stick me.

GET A HOT WATER BOTTLE!!!
Bro's it's nothing. No pain really. You should get a Hot Water Bottle. Those are a lifesaver. It's good to take a shower prior to injecting cause it softens the muscle plus you are clean. But if you don't have access to a shower, get a how water bottle and place it over your injection spot for about 5 minutes prior to inject. It will soften the muscle, making it relax and easy to push a needle through and easy for the oil to disperse. Make sure you double up on the alcohol swabbing if you haven't taken a shower. Get a fresh needle, Push it in, Asperate, Inject SLOWLY. Take your time, you don't want an oil absess. Take the needle out, massage with alcohol swab for about 3 minutes then cover again with the hot water bottle to disperse the oil throughout the muscle easier. Well, the first few cycles I did were with 2 guys that never aspirated. At the time, I didnt even know you were supposed to. Then I had a nurse friend do it and he said to throw the suringe with the blood in the garbage...that could get expensive and wasteful though. These days, I have another friend of mine that aspirates and then just sticks it somewhere nearby if he ever gets blood. I take all the precautions in cleaning with alcohol for sure.
I'm in radiology school so I have the information for injections (except what to do with a blooded suringe) and I know all the anatomy....it's just the act of inflicting the pain...which is mainly mind over matter that I have to get over

My 1st inj was in the right quad. I had an unbelievable fear of needles I might add. But.......I wanted to get huge and there was no way around it. I sat there with the needle against my skin and it just "slid in"....LOL...I was amazed how easy it was and what a puss I was. Now it's both quads, the glutes and the delts.
I also drank a few beers before the 1st injection.....

Trust me just do it yourself...the first time I did it i did it nice and slow and that was the best way for me...

Also.. try this.... slap your thigh a few times real hard.. the it kinda numbs the thigh area where you inject...and it actually hurts worse than the acutal injection.......Comment

When I first started sticking myself I found it pretty easy to inject into my shoulders. Use a 23g 5/8in needle. I found this spot to be less painful than quads.Comment
