I know the answer to this bit wanted to open a discussion on the following: why is it post cycle and into the "off time" (completely off cycle or on hrt/trt) the lower half of your body gains size easier (talking size not strength or look or leanness) than when on cycle?
I'm talking over all size which includes water weight and fat mass.
personally, I don't see it that way....your body isn't wired for selective anything - not fat release, not fat utilization, not testosterone presence, not water retention.
nope, the body is pretty much equal opportunity in that regard, and in my own physique, that's been my experience as well.
the only thing that could possibly, in my way of thinking, make a diff is your routine.
testosterone, as it has been proven, will increase lean muscles mass even if you live on a couch, but, naturally, it does wonders to the muscles you actually damage during duress (working out) - that's testosterones job, tissue repair.
so yeah, work out the lower body more and you will notice the effects and side effects more.
aside from that, the lower body contains the largest muscles you have, so everything is amplified. and maybe that's what you are seeing.
creatine, for example - notorious for water weight gain. well, it only stands to reason that you will notice swelling due to creatine side effects more in your quads than your traps.
other than that...buy a fun house mirror so that everything matches.
