  • Fat Reduction Diet Please Critique

    I'm starting this diet today. The purpouse, to :2gunsfiri my bf from 14% to 8%. Current stats, 5'5 183 lbs.

    I will be doing cardio 5 x wk 20-30 mins jogging light after my lifting in the pm (no sprints).

    I'm also running 50mg ed of Winny.

    Meal 1.- 8:00 am Scramble eggs. 3 eggwhites 1 whole + 4oz low sodium ham.

    Meal 2.- 12:00 pm 1 MRP Myoplex Low Carb Shake (Chocolate)

    Also, please bare in mind I'm an ez gainer. Carbs=fat/big for me. Also, spend much of the day sitting down in front of a pc due to my job.

      Why no sprints?


      Figure up your basal metabolic rate and see how many calories under it you are consuming and that will give you a prelude to how successful this diet could be.

        HIIT cardio is awesome, you should try it...maybe on the bike or something if the sprints are b/c of joint problems.

          I would up your protein intake and meal frequency.......I'm just massive paranoid about loosing muscle

            I've noticed due to my job routine, that if I go over the 2000 cals a day I just maintain the weight (thus the 1.2g per lb). If anything I'd have to cut off fat and add some more protein...
            I'm concerned about HIT due to the possibility of muscle loss... After all, the idea is to stay aerobic not anaerobic during cardio right? I have a friend that did it and lost a ton of weight, but also lost a ton of muscle while on it.
