  • PO Box problem

I haven't checked my PO Box for about a month or so simply because I wasn't expecting anything. This morning I went in and my key wouldn't open my box. Also, in every box you can look through the key hole and see through the other side, but my box was completely dark as if it had been shut. The PO hadn't opened yet so I couldn't ask what was up...but then i started to get paranoid. Is it possible that they got suspicious and are waiting for me to confront them? Another possibility is that my lease on the box is over (I really don't know when that would be) and that they just didn't tell me.
    What should i do?

i think there is a way to get it under whatever name you want but i am not sure how. this is not something to discuss in the open though

The only ways I can think of are fake I.D. (it better be a good one) or knowing someone that works there.

Just use your real name when you rent out a box. If they're gonna get you, they're gonna get you. An assumed name isn't gonna do very much. You'll just be setting yourself up for additional charges...i.e. fraud

yep, I also have a P.O box. Usually they put a letter 2 months before it's up that you need to renew it or loose it....

Last time I re-upped my lease the bastards closed my box a few days before it was to expire. Damn mail lady had to go get my mail from the back. I was like WTF

It is better to get a box at a private owned place like a mailbox place, at the post office you can only get US mail there at the other places they accept pretty much everything and are easier to deal with ususally!

I know it's $18 per six months as far as the PO box. It may be slightly cheaper to go with the year, but I've always just paid in six month increments.

If they had "something" on you, they probably would have made the first move. so unless you were expecting something to arrive and didn't receive it, then i wouldn't be worried. MBE has always been good to me, but I think that they know me too well in there, I'm getting paranoid. At least they will sign for packs though.
