Scar tissue from pinning

Do you do anything to try and break it up or soften it? Was wondering if it would be better to shoot after yoou take a shower so the body was warmed up. What do you think?

I have some scar tissue in my glutes and did some research on how to manage. Was to the point where i had to really push hard on the plunger in order for the gear to go in. From what i read, massaging the area can accelerate the break up the scar tissue. Massaging as well as laying off the area for 2 months should help greatly.

Ultrasonic massage I've read is supposed to help, also those massagers that vibrate. It claims to break up the scar tissue with continued use, and soften the area back up...

99% of the time I pin after showering and get massages ( wife is experienced) seems to help me and few of her clients swear it helps them with scar tissue related to trauma/accidents. Surely isn't making worse I know that.

My delts are nothing but scar tissue, I get regular massages from my wife and always try to pin after a hot shower but nothing will really make it go away. I have found that as the scar tissue has gotten worse that using longer pins seems to help in getting the oil into the muscle and not into the scar tissue.

I now pin quads, delts and traps so rotating injection sites helps. Will go back to using glutes soon to give me more spots to rotate.

Been shootin delts and glutes since 1994. I cant say I have any scar tissue that I can feel. I am sure theres some, but I never notice it and never have a problem.

You can get q mini electro shock therapy kit that will work wonders on getting the knots out.

hell iam all scared up i use a nail 20g or 21 g x 1.5 for the areas that are beat to hell. i didnt know about hot showers but now i will give it a try. plus i heat the amps up in oven for a bit to that helps or vials. i worry that the oil will sit in the scar tissue and give me a abcess and my wife aint here no more so i get kinda worried.

20 or 21 gauge??? wtf bro...its like sticking a #2 pencil in your ass!!! damn!! lol

i used a 23x1.5. yep...scar tissue in the glutes that makes it tuff to plunge...i just have to tirn the needle once or twice and find a spot that the plunger moves in.....i need to get the area messaged!!

dave, i noticed that the cheap syringes always i break the plunger but BD syringes work alot better and go in better w/o me breaking the fuking plunger or bending it to hell. but ill give messageing a try. i stuck a 20 1.5 needle in my shoulder that hurt like no tomorrow. it almost hit the bone. so now i use a 21. but i might go to 18 in my ass cheek as i cant get nothing to go in even a 20 but iam worried ill bleed like a pig. but ill see if it hurts to much as i cant turn to far my lats get in the dam way. but ill use nothing but BDsyringes fuk those cheap ones.

I always shoot right after I shower...skin is softer, and I also find I don't have to fight the oil in so hard.

Good thread with good info...we must always find ways to bypass issues.

This is exactly what I had told Fuzo. Skin swells after a warm shower, hence, is why us ladies should shave our legs before showering for a cleaner smoother shave. Figured the softer skin would help ease injections. That is why I started this thread cause I wondered who does this.
