  • when asking advice

I think when asking advice all secs should be posted.
    Maybe give stats such as,

    age
    training experience
    what you are taking now
    how long into the cycle
    maybe diet
    goals

maybe even more info if needed

      Re: when asking advice

Someone should make a stickie like this. That way when someone asks for advice and not giving much info I will point them at link.
It is hard when someone asks for advice and you know very little about them to make an informed answer

I couldn't agree more dirtwarrior. I remember at one time that actually was requested, or at least I thought it was. Anyway, I've often wondered how anyone can expect solid advice if they don't give out that info.

I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.

Good point chrisotpherm. We were all there once. Unfortunately for some of us though the Internet wasn't around yet so we had to either rely on other people we knew or find some good books on the subject. I remember reading some of Dan Duchaine's books such as "Underground Steroid Handbook" and "Body Opus." Anyone else remember Duchaine aka The Guru? I remember a quote of his: "If you can't grow on Deca and Dbol, you can't grow on anything!" That guy was crazy but I sure enjoyed reading his articles and books.

But you have to remember as well, some people especially newbies don't know what to ask or what information is needed to get solid advice. Its not a fault, they just don't know. So before responding, tell them what you need to help. If you are cool they will be more likely to offer info instead of holding it back. No stupid questions in this game.

There should be a sticky on here somewhere with 1st cycle advice and other helpful info for 1st timers. I know there used to be and we would always refer them to read through all of the info first and then come back with questions.

I don't think it's as much somebody being a smart ass as it is it's typing on the Internet. Plus if you respond as a smart ass, who is wrong? Sometimes you just gotta let stuff go and try to help regardless of how you perceive the person.

That's the kicker right there Brother. It is very easy to respond in a "tone" that you perceived as "smart ass" like or even "cocky". This was part of the demise of you know where. Just try to remember, we were all virgins in this game, trying to understand something about it even if it was just a little. It took someone with patience and understanding of where we were at to step up and lend a helping hand, and that will start the trickle effect that will continue to make this place as great as it is...

But yes, the more information you can give the vets around here to help you, the better your replies will be...

There has always been several stickies, and there still is, in the AAS forums and other forums as well.
