Jeremy Helbing, 35, of Leesburg has been charged with distribution and conspiracy for illegally supplying steroids to Jeffery Reagan, 43, of Bristow, Va.
Reagan coached football at South County High School for several years, was most recently associated with the West Springfield High School football program and taught at Mountain View Alternative High School in Centreville.
He was arrested in the Sully Plaza Shopping Center in Chantilly where he allegedly met Helbing at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Reagan was charged with possession with intent to distribute steroids and conspiracy to distribute steroids.
Fairfax County Organized Crime and Narcotics Unit detectives received a tip in December 2011, and launched an investigation. After meticulous follow up, police arrested both men.
After the arrest, Fairfax detectives worked with Loudoun County narcotics detectives and went to Helbing’s home in Leesburg, where they uncovered numerous substances which are pending lab results.
