  • Soldier busted for selling suspected steroids to undercover officer

An Army soldier was busted Sunday afternoon for selling $900 worth of suspected steroids to an undercover officer, Columbus police said.
Charles Danielson Eadie, 30, of Fort Bragg, N.C. is charged with sale of steroids, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and use of a communication device, reports state.

Police say Eadie sold three vials of suspected steroids about 3:30 p.m. outside the Reese Crossing Shopping Center, 3716 Gentian Blvd. Eadie had a .40-caliber Sig Sauer pistol on him at the time.

The communications device charge stems from Eadie’s use of a cell phone to arrange the sale, reports state.
