    Re: hair loss with aas

you can try nioxin its a shampoo that removes the dht from your hail folicals or you can use proscar @ 1 to 1.25 mg ed or both.
the proscar will stop the conversion of testosterone to dht witch might hinder some of your gain. if your using any dht based aas i think the shampoo would be your best bet.i always shed a little on aas but not half as much when i use proscar
hopefully overburden will see this and chime in.

        Re: hair loss with aas

If yo use Rogain, it may help hair grow only if there is still hair to be grown. Also, once you stop it, hair will not continue to grow in. Get a good 3o days sytem or Pravan , or like Rocker said, use the products in the Nioxin line. They have been around for awhile and continue to use them regularly and you should notice a difference.

                Re: hair loss with aas

I second the use of Nioxin shampoo and conditioner. It helps to neutralize DHT and for me does a great job of controlling hair loss. It's not cheap, but at 51 almost 52 and with a long history of AAS use I still have a full head of hair.

                          Re: hair loss with aas

I made an appointment with a hair transplant doctor a few months ago. It was like $8 a graft and I needed like1,200 grafts so about $10,000+...No friggin way am I doin g that. The dr was very cool and honest all the way. He said You will keep all the hair you have if you start on pr op ecia and use Rogaine FOAM at least once a day. He said that will stop it from falling out and may grow some back. This guy wrote a book on baldness and he really knows his stuff. He said the foam is superior and a higher dose than the liquid and only needs to be used 1X per day. I startted on this, with NIOXIN, about 3 months ago. My hair is def better and I am happy with the amount of hair I have now, so I am not going to worry about it anymore. Thats the big thing. Hair loss is one of those things that can get in our head and mess with you. It bugs ya and eats at ya. Cant worry about it. Try to cover it if you can , if not fuggit and from there forget about it. Ive talked to more women who say it isnt any big a deal if a guy loses his hair than chicks who say it is a big deal to them.

I have a bro who is 2 years younger and he has the hair of a teenager. He has never used aas. Go figure.

I agree. Ive done that, but ended up growin it back and I think I will stay with some hair for a while. The only thing that keeps me from doing this is that my older brother shaves his head and I dont want to look lik ehim LOL
I went to the hair dr mainly out of curiousity, it was a free consultation, and the guy ended up writing me a years Rx for pros car. He told me Sylvester Stallone had his hair transplant surgery done at his house, same with arnold.
