  • Injection question.....

If people tend to hit veins and find some spot injections painful, how come people dont just inject regularly in the ass and rotate but cheeks, since the ass is clear of any veins and is not that painful compared to ther spots....are regular injections in the but cheeks bad ??

think about it for a second. Let's just say you have a national or prof.BB right? Don't you think that after 8-10-12 years of shooting in the ass the muscle fiber might not be tore up ? Everyone should alternate whether your a newbie or not. I alternate to ALL of the places I can shoot just so that I give all of spots a rest. I start with my ass, then go to bi's, tri's delts, traps, lats, calves and quads. I've luck enough to never have shot into or through a vein(knock on wood)

I guess I never thought about people who use(d) gear for sumthin like 10-12 years....Ur right in that case, it wouldnt be a good idea...I guess since Im only thinkin of doin 2-3 cycles max, then I think its ok in my case, but not for vets..

Rado, are you sure you know how to aspirate?

I must be balancing you out. Hit a vein twice on first quad injection, and on the third calf injection...

I'm still to chicken to try my bi's, but agree that everyone should rotate as many sites as possible...

Man, I hit a vein in my ass once... Went right through it... was a lil' hard, thought I'd just hit a lil' bit of friggin' scar tissue... aspirated and everything, I was clear. Injected, then pulled out... bam, guess what... old faithful shoots out that fuckin' four foot needle thin spray of blood all over my bathroom counter, lol. Scared the shit out of me, was like the beginning of my second cycle *chuckles*.

when u stick a needle in the site and u pull the plunger up alittle and see if there is blood at the base of the plunger. If there is blood that means u hit a vein, take it out and inject somewhere else. U need to change the pin too. But if u do that and no blood than ur good to go.

What's the odds of hitting a vein in your glute?

I rotate all over. i use 1 1/2' pins for quads and glutes, 1" for delts and biceps, and the deeper I go the less likely I are to hit a vein, in my experience. Glutes just seem more awkward for me to do
There is no substitute for experience......

i always rotate, and even after just a few cycles, i still have a lot of scar tissue in my ass which is not much fun to get through ...
