    (Reuters) - U.S. health regulators will add warnings to the labels of widely used cholesterol lowering drugs, such as Lipitor, to indicate that they may raise levels of blood sugar and could cause memory loss.

    The list of side effects from statins is a mile long. One of the worst drugs out there IMho. Even though high cholesterol is NOT one of the most reliable markers for heart disease. Blood CRP levels is a much more consistent predictor than cholesterol, but the drug companies dont want you to know that.
