Blood Donation while on AS?

was just curious... i'm thinking it would not be wise to donate blood while on AS? any thoughts on this?

ok hummer u dont have to be a cock to him. He can donate blood if he wants and that shouldnt affect the way u are to him. Also it wont lessen your pumps. - I really dont see a problem with it, just because your juiceing doesnt mean your contaminated. I doubt theyll test the blood for AS and the amount of AS in your blood stream is so minute that it really could probaly not affect the donor. IMO but you can ask billy bathgate hed know more

Ive talked to a few blood banks about it before, and they say not to, as the blood cant be used with high concentrations of hormones...for obvious reasons.

Now I dont know if they even check or not though, because the amounts in it would be so short lived I dont see how they would have any kinda affect on any body. A woman will not get a hotdog clit from it lol even if your on a gram of test. Prob make her horny though.

I sometimes have donated in the past. Its usually when I run EQ. My RBC gets actually too high and I constantly sweat too much. So I dontate a pint and it helps me out. High RBC are a very good thing for us, but..for me if it gets too high the sides outweigh the benefits...thats just me though. I may have some genetic factors that play into this.


Either way, you can dontate. It wont screw up your cycle or anything. Remeber plasma concentrations are short lived. Exact time I dont know, but like a day or so maybe.

It is not the androgen effect that would be the problem. The problem is that many anabolic/androgenic hormones can dampen the immune system – this is not good for someone in a condition where they are in need of blood.

well i do appreciate the positive responses above. as i said i was just curious on the "subject". i wasn't planning on donating while i was on AS, but i was curious just because i was curious
