  • Celebrex while injecting?

I am new here so please forgive me if this seems like a newb question.

I just started a Test-E 300 cycle and am on my second week of 250mg twice/week and got a serious inflamation with fluid build up around my knee bad enough to where it is sore to touch, my questions is would it be safe to be takeing Celebrex while on this cycle?

I could have very well touched a nerve in my thigh while giving the injection and think it may be the culprit, anyone ever experience this?

ya taking celebrex will be fine, I assume your taking liver sups anyway correct? the inflamation is from what? did you pull something? Or are you thinking its from the injection? Is this your first cycle? I did hit a nerve in my quad 1x and it swelled up and bruised very dark hurt like hell for a solid week, fyi.

well, i do not think i pulled a muscle, it could either be from hitting a nerve or the gear itself. I started out with a low dose last week and the first hurt for several days which i exspected but it went away and the second did not hurt at all after the fact. I upped the dose this week only by instruction by a Vet on the board. Nothing has changed except for stepping up my diet and dose, had a blood test taken several weeks before my cycle and everything was normal so no liver supps., should I?

There is no problem with celebrex and gear. Read up on the side effects of cox 2 inhibitors. The older you are, the worse the side effects even though this still is amongst a VERY SMALL percentage of users.
From what little you wrote, it doesn't seem to be something that will be helped by a cox 2 anti inflamitory.

any ideas of what may have caused the inflamation, I can't post the name of the gear but only in private message correct? I have taken Celebrex for some time now for tendenitous but stopped taking it about a month ago.

yes, always run liver sups even if your not on an oral. Just real basic I'm running 2g of milk thistle and 1,200mg of NAC ed. Its cheap and effective.

Its hard to say. Is it swelling were if you pressed you thumb flat yet hard into the area for 20 seconds and then released it, does your thumbprint still appear after 10 seconds or so? If yes, it could be localized water retention due to your injection site and/or dose. The sore to the touch could be the ba/bb mix in the gear but might be fluid in the joint if you have pain OR reduced range of motion while bending it.
              Hope this helps some.

I have tried thigh injections and it always ended up with painful result. So I stay with glutes and delts and have never had a problem. Do you have to do thigh injections?

I do thigh injections because they are easily accessable and i do not have to stretch to see what i am doing, i feel other area's that i can't reach as well may be critical if i don't hit the right spot or inject too deep or vice versus.

I can pick up some MT at my local herb shop, what about NAC? and i asume that by ed you mean Each Day correct? Do you slit it up or take it with breakfast or after or what?

Like i stated earlier, i am new to the gear and probably should have done WAY more research before i started, so please forgive my ignorance as i am putting it all together i am picking up some PCT this weekend but don't have anything to counter any side effects while on the cycle such as gyno, anywhere i can get some back-up for the sides?

Reduced range of motion yes, i have my leg bent at 90d. right now with heat pad but i felt i had to slightly force it into the 90d, it is only sore if i fully extend or bend but when relaxed its just uncomfortable, i am starting back the celebrex for now just in case.

I think it might be the gear but then again not sure is why i am asking someone else who may have experienced this same thing.

I buy the NOW brand of NAC. Best price I have found. I do think they might have NAC at trueprotein.com that might be even cheaper...You can also buy glutamine by the pound there...

It sounds unlikely that the gear is soley responsible. Even if you injected a large amount of aromatizing gear without an antiaromitase (arimidex, femara, aromasin) the water retention would be mostly subcutaneous (just under the skin). Having reduced range of motion and some pain, You should continue celebrex or ibuprofen AND figure out if the test is causing water retention via estrogen/estrodiol. It's hard to tell just by reading here because I don't know if you are prone to test/estrogen conversion. The best way is bloodwork but most won't do it.

so what specifics do i need to be looked in to when i get blood work, i only had them check enzyme levels for my liver and such. I do not no if i am prone or not, i started out taking only 150mg/week for two weeks and then starting this past monday jumped to 250mg and will be doing this 2x/week on Monday and Thurs for 10 weeks. As far as the NAC goes, do local herb shops carry such? i have one close by owned by a friend who carries a lot of variety but i never spend the time in the store looking for anything in particular.

If you have a doctor that knows what you are doing cycle wise or he will order what you want then:
                              CBC
                              CMP/GFR
                              Testosterone-Total
                              Testosterone-Free
                              Prolactin
                              Estrogen/Estrodiol
                              LH

there are more but lets find out if your doc will play ball and if you have coverage?
