  • Old Gear?

So I was cleaning out my old boxes and found some old gear. How old is too old to use? It still looks as fresh and clean as the day I got them, and it's making me itch to start up! LOL

But seriously, should I take any precautions before trying it? Is there a set number of years you wouldn't take it? Should I cook it up in the oven for a bit to kill any bacteria?

    Thanks

THE BENZYL ALCOHOL THAT ITS MADE WITH SHOULD KEEP IT STERILE. HOW OLD IS IT? I SHOULD BE GOOD STILL.

      Re: Old Gear?

5-6 years i think. It has an expiration date of 2010, but it's UG so that can be taken with a grain of salt

      Thanks for the input though

Hey if you decide to toss it- Ill be your gunea pig LOL. It should be good but it may depend on the lab- some guys took good care cuz they too used their own gear, but if it says something like crimson labs, bangor labs etc you may want to re-consider

I have some GEN-PHARMA gear....its 6 years old. Still good!! I think all that really happens is the gear gets weaker with age.

Has the vial ever been drawn from? If not, then I say go for it. If you have used some from it... Id probably just toss it. Not worth the risk IMO.

as long as it has been sealed and stored in a cool dry place you should be GTG
