If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.
Getting set up to do a test/fina/var run, and I just came into some winny. Should I try and incorporate the winny into this run as well, or save it for another cycle?

I'm not sure it would be of much benefit considering you're running var. Also, var and winny are both 17aa, which are hard on the liver, so take some milk thistle and drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol to be safe.
