we got the vaccine once back in 2001....wife got flu!!! was sick for 5 or 6 days!! i was sick for 2 days...never did it before and never have since!!! its not for us. my dad and mom used to get them every year...my mom got one already this year

Oh no doubt. I wasn't trying to start a debate or anything. Just saying that I refuse them. It was tough in the military because they're mandatory, so it was hard every year finding a reason not to or faking the nasal spray or whatever. A lot of people get these when they don't need it. It's mainly the ederly that may need it, but it's big business. I never understood why you would want a vaccine that makes you sick to keep you from getting sick. Just me, dunno. I think I remember last year you asked about the safety of them or something, or if people thought we should get them. What was your decision on that? Are you guys getting them?

I don't think we will be getting them. My daughter got them for a couple of years, but last year she got quite sick after the frst dose of H1N1. We didn't get her the second one even though I can't really be sure it was the shot that made her sick. As far as me, I thought about it but I have had chronic all over body pain for over a year now and I am afraid that any shot like that would cause a flare up. Fuzo never gets them either.
