My blood test

I had a blood test dome a few weeks ago because I had those trigger point done to my lower back and hamstrings.I couldnt understand why she wanted a blood test since I just got these hamstrimgs done and I guess they were trying to juice my insurance for more money. Anyway since I'm on HRT my red blood cell stats are a little high which means the blood could be like sludge,Ive known about this for years and so has my doc. Well this p/a bitcxh called me up and said Omg your vlood stats are a little high just a little and she freaked out and told me Omg you can have a stroke and I toldf her to friggin relax lady I know its been like that for years since I'm on HRT. Well this ***** called my Eurologist and said to him my red blood cell count is a little high so he called me to come in and talke to me and now I'm pissed. He wanted to lower my dosage and I said no I know what this HRT does my red blood cell count isnt that high just a few points higher then normal. So I called this ***** and told her not to ever call any of my doctors again. These docs think they know better when it come to something they dont know anything about and that pisses me off

who is she? does she work for a doctor or something? that the prob wiht doctors...they all think they know it all and wont look into any other direction except wha tthey think it is, ya know? if they think the problem is "B", then they'll find everything they can to prove its "B" and not even LOOK into "C"

Fuzo, have you tried donating blood every 2 months to keep your red blood cell count in check? I know several people who their doctors suggested this.

My urologist suggested that because thats what people do is give blood to lower the red cell count. I'm going to look into this and mabey theres a place that they will even pay me for my blood.But my doc didnt lower my dose and its all good. This physicians assistant is a Rheumatologists assistant.All this over just getting trigger point therapy for my hamstrings.I did call them and told them they will never take blood from me again and the there doc sent me a certified letter stating if I dont let them take blood that I need to seek treatment elsewhere and I told them "SEE YA LATER" See theres places out there that just want to bill your insurance for nonsense procedures so they can make more money

Good job standing up to them man! I rarely go to the doctor because I just don't trust them. When I went for the ligaments in my foot, they referred me to a specialist and suggested an MRI and everything. The specialist told me that he would give me an MRI if I wanted it but he said that it wasn't needed. He basically told me that they suggested it only to make money from the insurance company. He didn't say those exact words, but he said it in a way I would understand but not get him in trouble. It's ridiculous when you feel like you have to screen your damn doctors!

Exactly. That is a stupid bytch stickin her prick where it don't belong.
Only a full out cardiologist has the know how when i comes to blood to tell if something needs adjusted. Not the bytch at the lab. Not your eurologist.
As long as I've been on HRT, and te dose I like to stay at, my blood is in excellent condition. I even smoke when I want 1. Which isn't as often as most smokers, but that's the biggest deal concerning thick blood. My 2 cigs a day made the cardiologist say something, but nothing about my HRT. One reason is probably cause I killed their stress-test, and came out with the "fittest award". It's on my imaginary shelf with my grammy. Anyway. Yes. That's horseshi. I'd b irked as hell too. Your blood pressure will alert 1st. If it's not scary, "about to have a stroke" scary, then they need to relax.
Everybody that don't now shit about HRT wants to go thinking they know cause they hear those damn male hormones are bad. Ignorant. If those dum****es only knew. I give all credit to HRT for my being in decent shape. All organs functioning like a champ.
