I went to the drugstore to buy some pins today and they didn't want to sell them to me w/o a prescription. I finally talked them into selling me 20, 25g 5/8. Here's what I need to know. Is the 5/8 long enough for shooting into the delt? I don't carry much fat there and I am tired of using 1.5 in. I hope these are long enough because that was the only place I can buy pins w/o a hassle and now they are being reluctant on selling them w/o a prescription. Next time I will order online. I just needed them TODAY!!!!

IMo 5/8 is not enough, it just wont get deep enough, but if you don't have much meat(like very little too), then I guess it's better than nothing heh.

What a dick!! I'm so glad that we can get them here in Canada at any pharmacy no problem. They never even looked at me wierd...it was as if I was buying cough syrup. But now I got a buddy that works in a pharmacy, so he gets me all mine for freeOriginally posted by PhyzEd

5/8 will work for delts. I always tell the pharmacist I'm doing IM injections with b12.x|Fluid|x is presenting REAL opinions and DOES encourage and condone the use of steroids or other illegal/legal substances that may be used in an illegal manner.

I've used the 5/8 25 gauge on my quads even. No problems.
