How to kill bacteria and virus's?

Would it be a good idea to boil a bottle in order to make sure there is no bacteria or virus's in the products? This is a water based product as well. What would be the safest way to achieve this and would you think it would damage the gear? Thanks

Boiling certainly kills bacteria, but may also rupture the seal and make the vial susceptible to (re)infection from outside bacteria, if the stopper is not installed right. Vials can be heated to re-suspend a hormone in oil after it has fallen out - but high heat will cause the contents to expand, and the stopper to balloon outward - its a tricky thing that must be done carefully. Back when people used to convert fina and prop, the process did include heating the vials to a high temperature . . . a pan of water would be heated to a boil, then removed from the heat. The vials would be placed into the water (submerged or nearly submerged), and allowed to sit for 15 minutes or so. The vial and its contents would be heated by the water to near boiling temperature, and then allowed to slowly cool down. This process was used to fully dissolve the hormone into the oil. But there are two problems with applying this process to your vials: First, you have a water based hormone - I've never been a "brewer," so this may change things quite a bit. I don't know if this process may ruin whatever is in your vials. Someone who has done it or read up on it more than I will have to answer for that. Second, the process I described heats the vial to very near boiling temperature, but not quite. Boiling is know to kill bacterias, yes, but I don't know about just getting close to a boiling temperature . . .? It may or may not have the desired results. I can tell you that I would definitely not actually boil a glass/pyrex vial - it will almost certainly crack and break. Sterilization of injectibles is almost always achieved by adding small amounts of BA and BB, within a small percentage range to the overall volume. A minimum % is required to maintain sterility, but too much can make painful injections, possibly damage the hormone, and/or make it insoluble. I don't know the specifics about that stuff, but I would be surprised if the brewer didn't use BA and BB. If you have reason to suspect that he did not use BA and BB - or did not use them correctly - you may be better off getting a refund or tossing those vials in the trash. Unless it is winstrol, which can be injested effectively I'm told. Maybe someone else can expand on this - or offer a solution.

Hey bro thanks for the reply. See this is my dillema. I have a near full vial of winny and it has been used by another person. im not sure if the used new pinz to draw each time or what. I just was weighing the chances of me getting something from it. know what i mean. Any input? Thanks bro

Can you ask him how he did it? Winny can be taken orally, but I'm not sure I'd even do that if there's even a chance that your buddy could have a blood borne disease. As for the possible bacteria - if the winny is taken orally, it may not pose a health problem, but it would be kind of gross to think about that every time you take it. I'd probably not use that stuff until you hear it is clean, or until someone else can tell you how to sterilize it without destroying the winny. That's all I got.

If you trust the person who you got it from them no worries ive said these threads before and most likely the gear is fine.. But like testify said just take it oraly you dont have to inject it.If your still worried then toss it and just get some new stuff. Remember you always have to be safe and make sure you know where your getting your gear at and how legit it is.
