Re: Ridding Water Weight
Well, obviously not eating a lot of salt is rule #1. Thts hard, because salt is in EVERYTHING. I've used natural diuretic stuff like Taraxatone, Dandelion root...nothing too drastic, like lasix. Gotta be really careful with it because it can really throw your heart into a fit. Bout 10 years ago, I had a friend die after the morning prejudging..He didnt like the way he looked so he took extra lasix and had a heart attack. I used some prescription diuretic called maxide at my last show. Have a couple Im saving for my next show. But those things are only temporary, for like a show or photo shoot.. Right now I have too much body fat to even think of using a diuretic..LOL...got to get lean for summer...bein g a lardass in the summer would totally suck...
Of course there is always the debate whether drinking a gallon a day of water to keep water retention down is legit

Re: Ridding Water Weight
guess I will give my trick...I love a drink or two...but even light beer has tons of sodium and sugars
...found a cool trick given to me by my friend Author Rhodes (18 years in the MLB). I switched to ice tea, unsweetened, with a shot of vodka...usually goose or kettle. No sodium, very little sugar from vodka...I actually get buzzed faster, enjoy my beverage more, and look leaner in the morning! I named this drink the "Aurthor Rhodes" btw at my local watering holes! Its actually funny to see how many bartenders sneer when you request it! LOL

Re: Ridding Water Weight
mainly non-processed foods, everything now has "enhanced flavoring", which is a code word for msg, which makes you hold a ton of water weight, worse than sodium, imho
gotta drink lot's of water
3 or more days of no carbs will tighten you up, also you'll be flat, lol, but tight
