Basically, in 2003, the government approved growth hormone for short kids. The CBS report I just watched about a child that was very short, showed the GH has worked, and is working. He's up 3inches. He says, 'the name calling stopped long ago'. His doctor still keeps him on them. They're working. I'd say a few inches, catching up with peers, and a much better self esteem is a cuccess. The kid is in school wrestling too.
I can relate. I was second to the shortest kid in my grade until the summer between 10th & 11th grade. Then I grew about 8" in 3 months. Topping out at 5'11". I knew I wouldn't be short all my life, cause all the men in my family, mother and father's side, are over 6'. My older brother and I grew exactly the same, just like our dad and his brother. Short little runts until high school. Then we grow like a weed in a few months. Growing pains in my legs were hell all my life though.
I wish I would've gotten growth. I might be 6'3" right now instead of 5'11"...oh yeah...in-a-half.lol...shorty. At least I'm 6' in shoes.
