I just got off of t3 a month ago and now I’m starting to gain weight extremely quick(10 lbs in a month). I feel that it’s mostly water weight especially around my abdominal region. What should I do to keep me from gaining more weight? Should I start taking water pills?

I was told to take t3 (cytomel) with xenedrine and I did:
12.5 mg for 6 days in the AM
12.5 mg for 18 days AM and PM
then back to12.5 mg 6 days in the AM
so I did max of 25 mg a day
Diet: I eat about 5-6 clean meals a day. I don’t drink pop nor fruit drinks. The only think I drink are shakes and water (about a gallon a day).
I workout 5-6 days a week. Cardio 3-4 times, weights 4-5 times
Sundays are optional for me, MW I do AM and PM. Fridays I only do cardio. Saturdays rest.
Here’s a typical Monday and Wednesday for me:
Breakfast: I would have a shake then head off for my morning cardio workout
M2: another shake after and fruit.
M3: a cup of oatmeal and banana and 2-3 egg whites
or chicken breast and some greens.
M4: fruit and 2 scoops of whey
Then couple hours later I coach then I head out to the gym to do weights (I’ve been going heavy)
M5 – grilled chicken salad very with little dressing. I would sometimes sprinkle the fiber one cereal in my salad.
M6: I would have another shake before bed. If hungry. (and most of the time I am)
Bro with that diet and those doses of T3 this scenario doesnt make sense - but everyone reacts to drugs differently i would go to the doc and have him run some tests

If thats what your doing, I might suggest a LOW Carb diet for a couple weeks. I know this wont help with regaining T3 production, but if you are just holding water it would get rid of that. Maybe keep doing what your doing for another week, keep us posted! and then try it.
Also, how much weight did you lose on the T3? And what kind of diet did you use????
If you used low carb, then you could easily gain a lot of water weight post cycle by adding incarbs again.
Low doses like 12.5 mcg, and 25mcg are not worth it IMO. You are barely going above baseline level, if your going for fat burning. If your on a cycle, it will increase protein synthesis, but not much more than that. I wouldnt run t3 unless, my protein intake was 2g per lb, I was on a decent cycle with androgens, and I ran at least 75mcg a day.

I did the low carb and took 1.5g of protein per lean body mass. I was 123 now I’m 133 I lost only 12 pounds during that cycle. So my initial weight was 135. (its my second cycle BTW). Maybe you’re right I don’t think t3 is for me. I found myself almost throwing up or feeling like I was having a heart attack during a cardio session. The second cycle ate up the good stuff (which is muscle).
