    Anyone here diagnosed with M.S.?

    Just curious if there is anyone on F.G. diagnosed with multiple sclerosis?

          I guess I'm just curious about personal experiences from someone in regards to their general health and symptoms. I was just diagnosed a few weeks ago. I don't know anyone who has it.

            I wish I had some info. God Bless and be strong....

            The black talk show host has it but cant think of his name though. He seems to be doing well.

            Now I remember......its Montel Williams.

                        my brother in law, diagnosed about a year and a half ago, takes some steroid shots, i don't know what, main thing they told him is too reduce stress per my sis, he's 45 ish, his mother has had it for 20 years, she's had a limp for 7 years, other than that, both seem okay

                          Thanks guys... I appreciate the concern.

                          When this first started I was pretty concerned. The entire left side of my body was going numb. Side of my face, throat, arm, chest and leg would just go dead. I could limp if I had to but it was difficult to do anything. Thought I was going to have to quit work. Then after numerous tests, an MRI confirmed 4 lesions in the right side of my brain which was causing the left-sided problems. The doc had me take a massive high dose of prednisone for 9 days which has helped stop the flare-ups. Now just waiting to start on a special med just for MS. Overall I'm doing good now and have been hitting the weights like before. Bad thing is it's a progressive degenerative disease, so who knows what the future will bring.
