There has been alot of discussions regarding abscesses and the prevention of. One possible cause of an abscess is bacteria in the gear itself. I know you can heat gear when it becomes crystalized.
Couldn't you heat gear to remove most of the bacteria? If so, how do you do this?
THE BENZYL ALCOHOL THATS IN THE GEAR SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO KILL BACTERIA...THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS THAT CAN MAKE IT UNSTERILE. EVERYTIME YOU TOUCH THE TOP OF THE VIAL YOU MAKE IT UNSTERILE. THAT COULD GET ON THE NEEDLE AND THEN WHEN YOU PUT THE NEEDLE INTO THE VIAL TO DRAW IT OUT - YOU JUST CONTAMINATED THE WHOLE VIAL. WIPE EVERYTHING DOWN WITH ALCOHOL TO TAKE EVERY PRECAUTION YOU CAN TO KEEP THINGS STERILE. BUT EVEN THATS A SLIM CHANCE IT WILL HAPPEN.
I HAVE USED BOTH PHARM GEAR AND HOME MADE OR UNDERGROUND GEAR OVER THE YEARS AND NEVER ONCE HAD AN ABCESS. IVE HAD SOME SHOTS THAT HAVE MADE THE AREA RED AND IT HAS GOTTEN SWOLLEN AND CAUSED A LOW GRADE FEVER. BUT NOTHING TAKING SOME ADVIL DIDNT TAKE CARE OF.

i as you guys have had swollen cheeks for a while but again, nothing that advil didn't take care of. Just curious if even those swollen cheeks could have been prevented
rto much BA makes for VERY painful injects. You might get away with just a tad, but then I would put a pin in the top and re-bake it( on a cookie sheet in the oven @325 for 15min at a time for 3 times- then take it out and pull the pin)
Would it be ok to inject some more Benzyl alcohol into the gear...just to be sure or would that make the gear worse?

k so no more benzul but i wouldn't mind baking it, i will actually need to, to get the crystals out but 2 things:
1) will the vial break if i put it in the over for the amount and temp Deep said to put it at?
2) I was told that baking makes the compound/bonds of the gear weaker and hence makes them less effective. any truth to that?
Ive never ever seen any solid proof about baking gear and losing dosage but what I did was use the microwave for 10 seconds at a time to see if the crystals go away. Ive done it before and they went away and ive shot it and I still grew.try boiling it in water first. boil the water then stick the vial in there and let it sit. If that doesnt do it try the microwave for 10 seconds then continue until gone

im with o2. here lately people have really been jumping the abscess band wagon. there are people that get abcesses but if you keep your stuff clean it should next to never happen. You also will no without a doubt you have an abscess and you will know it within 24 hours. add a little BB to it if it's getting crystals, heat it in some water and enjoy. Personally i think baking is a waste of time and energy but you can do it.
